Converted from a near decade old laserdisc game for the Sega CD. It's one of many such games that were perfect for the console. Unfortunately, it's not "fun" to learn but I'm starting to realize what I can do to play better. I just don't like these because during gameplay it goes against all flight instincts. AND, the controls aren't inverted! That's a terrible thing to do in a flight game, even if it is on rails. It's just hard to get used to because you want to shoot something you know you can shoot, but it's invulnerable until you are told it's OK to shoot. Even then, I feel like it's a crap shoot whether you hit something or not. Sometimes, you don't have to fire on the target. Sometimes, you have to hit the target exactly.

I can say that this is unsurprisingly colorful, something the Sega CD was really good at doing. Even if it's not the smoothest game out there, the animation is done well enough all things considered. It's a neat anime-style FMV jaunt, but...yeah. People spent retail game money for this, and in retrospect, that doesn't feel right.
