I enjoy Cobramode's models almost as much as I enjoy unnecessary alliteration. It's easy to see why, as they have such a large variety of unique- looking characters ready for the tabletop (and 5E rules to go with them!) and tend to stay away from the more regularly used stock tabletop monsters.
While I am particularly fond of their salamander- like Hanzaki models, their platypus- based Boondaburra are quickly growing on me as well.
It's also fun to see insect- based models that are still somewhat tied back to real world species. I can always appreciate when an artist sends me down a Wikipedia rabbit hole looking up all the actual creatures they reference! Check out the giant Citheronia baddie! If that's the larva, what's the adult version going to end up like? There's a reason those things are nicknamed hickory horned devils...
I'm torn between painting that giant caterpillar in bright colors, or going full kaiju and doing him up like Battra. What do you guys think?
