Great session today, I thought that coming back to this game after playing the MWIII beta would make it feel slow and sluggish but boy was I wrong. It felt great. That's not to say that I hated the MWIII beta but that last session where we played some incredibly rough search & destroy games might have tarnished it a tad.
The gunplay felt really good in this, my aim felt on point and the TTK at 100 felt a lot nicer than MWIII's 150. It took me damn near a year to get here after Vanguard but I'm a t a point where I'm actually enjoying MWII. The new maps help a lot as they are so much better than the cheap Warzone cutouts that this game launched with last year, they play really well on S&D and the other 1 life game modes.
I'm still excited to play MWIII at launch with it's classic maps and snappier gunplay but what I'm most intrigued about is how the guns being ported over from MWII will work. Will they be exactly the same or need to be reworked completely? The ADS speed in MWII is so much slower than MWIII so will attachments increasing this speed on MWII be broken on MWIII?
Not long now until we get to find out exactly how the weapon sandbox will be in MWIII but for these last few weeks I'm just going to enjoy what's left of MWII... if SBMM will let me.
