CoD MWIII BETA Multiplayer (12/10/23)
0Wow, Sledgehammer, WOW!
This is a brand new game, more than a map pack, this is a fresh new experience and more importantly is what Modern Warfare should be! This is fast, chaotic and most importantly, FUN!
Now it's going to take a bit of getting use to after playing MWII for a year but I'm having fun playing the game so I don't mind if there's a learning curve.
The movement feels so fast in comparison to MWII that it feels like you're playing the game on fast forward, the first batch of matches I played felt like I was sliding around on ice. Because you start with 150 health the guns do feel a bit weak in this beta so perhaps that needs to be tweaked before launch but on the whole this is a MASSIVE step up from MWII.
The biggest problem with this game so far is the absolutely terrible spawns but seeing as I mostly play 1 life game modes anyway that probably won't effect me even if it stays in this state.
Playing all these maps again takes me right back to 2009 when the original 'Modern Warfare 2' came out, to think this year we're back to MW2 maps and David Tennant is the Doctor again. It really is like we travelled through time back to 2009!
