Opening FMV, and dungeon gameplay.
This game's interesting but I havent gotten too far into it yet. It's like a slower 3D tales game, mixed with pokemon with random dungeons.

While Monster Kingdom was part of the franchise folklore belonged to at some point, this one was evidently made to complement it/be a mini sequel or spin off of sorts. The game uses the same array of monsters as Folklore as far as I can tell and has connectivity features with the PS3 game (which I can't use cause my copy of Folklore is European).
Also the Japanese title of Folklore: "Folk's Soul, Forgotten Tradition" matches well with "Coded Soul, Inherited Idea"

I do not fully understand the game but I think that I may be able to beat it since it seems to have a simple structure of : base- scene- dungeon- scene- base- ect.
Also Karma release seems just as if not more unnecessarily complicated than in Folklore (and from what little I could find on the internet just as ignore-able)
