With the St. Louis University Mental Status Examination, the Benton Visual Retention Test, Memory Impairment Screening, and a few other funsy tests, we're going to be testing a whole lot of your brain today! These tests are primarily focused on areas like spatial relationships, language function, attention, and recall, to name a few. There are math problems, reading comprehension questions, spelling, memory tests, and identification tests. Basically, it's chock full of little brain tests for you :)

This does not even remotely look like true cognitive testing; the SLU Mental Status Exam, Benton test, and memory screening are all real tests, but they were gathered together to hit a wide range of questions for this video, & its only purpose is for relaxation. They're geared towards testing for dementia, but they're pretty dang close to what I've seen & used before with regular cognitive testing (also my ADHD ass had a rough time with it LOL).
