In this video I go through all of the beginning steps for the Forsaken map, activate the first main quest cutscene and craft the Chrysalax. Guides below!

First Cutscene Guide:
•Step 1 - Spawn area (Staging Area): Shown at 00:00:56 .
Go to the teleporter objective and activate it immediately. Until you have entered the facility for the first time, this area will rapidly flip through rounds and not be held up by a zombie remaining alive from a previous round. The teleporter will take 30 seconds to boot up, afterwhich you can teleport inside the facility and progress until you get to the Video Store Rooftop/Anytown West.

•Step 2 - Anytown West: Shown at 00:04:20 and onwards.
Once you reach this area, you will need to grab four parts to repair another teleporter located further along in an area called Fuel Processing. These parts change locations within their objective areas, but each one will always be found in their respective stores.
These parts are:
-Fryer, in Burger Town ( 00:06:21 );

-Focusing lens, in Cinema ( 00:06:38 );

-Circuit board, in Arcade ( 00:08:51 );

-Cathode-Ray Tube, in TV Store ( 00:08:59 ).
With these parts, rebuild the teleporter and enter it to go to the bunker.

•Step 3 - Lifting lockdown + First Cutscene:
Once inside the bunker, proceed to the marked teleporter in The Amplifier room. An abomination will come out of it and must be defeated to proceed. To kill it, wait for any of its three mouths to be open and glowing to deal maximum damage. Repeat for each head, then go through to the Watchtower. ( 00:10:29 )
Inside the watchtower, press the marked button to lift the lockdown ( 00:13:56 ). Then, once you are ready, press the red button near the shuttered window to activate the first Main Quest cutscene. It will not have an interaction indicator. ( 00:18:42 ).

Crafting the Chrysalax:
The Chrysalax is required to complete the second half of the Main Quest easter egg on Forsaken. Activating the first cutscene is required to get this wonder weapon via the quest. A melee weapon will be required for the final step (explained below).

•Step 1 - Collecting Crystals:
Three crystals need to be collected for this weapon. These crystals are:
-Polymorphic Crystal Core, from Jim's Donuts on Main Street once an anomaly spawns in once the necessary dialogue has activated ( 00:28:27 ). If the crystal is not there, proceed through rounds until it spawns– there will be a voice line from the PA system and Ravenov. Then, interact with the crystal and it will spawn plague hounds, tempests and mimics in waves that you will need to kill for its protective barrier to disappear and allow for it to be picked up. You do not have to stay inside the building during this event, but will need to go near the crystal after each wave if you leave the building.

- Energetic Crystal, obtained by making an Abomination shoot a dark aether crystal. ( 00:33:37 ). There are many crystals around the map that you can do this with, so do not worry if you broke some.

-Tormentor's Crystal Heart, from killing a Tormentor with fire. Flamethrower is recommended and most reliable method. ( 00:38:16 ).

•Step 2 - Crafting with the Aether Pool:
Now that you have all the crystals, you must place them in the Aether Pool located in the Particle Accelerator room, near the armor/weapon bench where you fought your first Abominaton and behind the accelerator itself. Interact with the pool and the crystals will be put inside. ( 0:38:42 ).
THIS IS A SOUL POOL, and this is where the melee weapon comes in. Or, if it's a low round and your melee skill is upgraded, no melee primary weapon is needed.
You must kill enemies at this box using melee attacks to charge and transform the crystals to create the weapon. ( 00:41:27 ). Once completed, the Chrysalax is yours and a Maxis audio log will then be available on the floor towards the right side of the tank. ( 00:41:07).
