Collaboration and Teamwork in Unreal Engine | Unreal Educator Livestream
Join us for a brand new Unreal Educator livestream series on Twitch, hosted by Epic’s Global Education Evangelist Luis Cataldi and Technical Artist Tom Shannon.
These presentations are for both educators and students and geared specifically towards teaching and learning in an academic environment.
We are kicking off with a topic that is essential to achieving success in Unreal Engine: collaboration. Unreal Engine is designed from the ground up for teams and it’s easier than you think to get started using collaborative workflows.
Tom explores various source control options available, where to host your content, and how to set up your projects to use source control directly within the editor. Then we look at how to use techniques like level streaming to allow multiple developers to work in the same level simultaneously. Along the way, we discuss best practices for getting the most of these tools in your school.
