For many games, the Collector’s Edition will provide additional rewards or bonus material as part of the game purchase at a premium price point. In addition to the base game, the player may receive in game or physical items as part of the purchase. In game items vary and may include cosmetic items, bonus content, special titles, or other forms of in game recognition. Physical items may also be included such as special packaging, art books, soundtracks, game figures, or any other swag associated with the game. Some Collector’s Editions are limited to a set number or a predefined time frame for purchase. The Collector’s Edition is a way for hardcore fans to express their love of a game.
