Luigi, younger brother of Mario, has won a contest! First price was a mansion! A free mansion that he won in a contest he doesn't remember entering... Luigi tells Mario about it and they go there to investigate. However, Mario arrives first, and when Luigi gets there he is nowhere to be found! Luigi soon meets an old man, Elvin Gadd, the professor, who tells him that the mansion popped up over night and is actually filled to the brim with ghosts! But they can be captured with the professors brilliant invention: The Poltergust 3000! A modified super vaccum! Equipped with the Poltergust 3000 and his flashlight, Luigi tries to solve the mysteries of this haunted mansion and find his lost brother. But the mansion is dark, and the ghost thrive in the darkness... Are you AFRAID of the dark? BOO!
Luigi's Mansion was one of the launch titles for the Nintendo Gamecube, but I didn't get the Gamecube when it launched (as I was only 8-9), so when I finally did get it it was with Super Mario Sunshine. One of my friends had Luigi's Mansion though, so I learnt of the game through him. I got it myself a while later and it's stayed in my collection ever since. It is a great game that is a part of my childhood! A bit short, but great nontheless!
