Finally to conclude the M60 chapter, the M60E4 Steel is rightfully the best variant of the M60's, which is probably why it is designated NX Rare. Just comparing the stats of the M60E4 Steel to the original M60 is clear enough why it is.

All mechanics and performance attributes identical to the M60E4. With its increases in Damage and Portability, you'll be just a bit faster but more importantly able to deal a ton of more damage. You'll find that you will drop people much faster than you could with the M60E4, since now the M60E4 Steel has the same amount of damage as the MK48 series. Very deserving of the NX Rare designation, and if you do have it and are a big fan of machine guns, the M60E4 Steel is definitely worth your money renewing.
