Combat Arms: Exploring The Arsenal Chapter 25 | The LAW Rocket Launcher
We've got ourselves quite the weapon today. Because I'm a total gun nerd (well, I think I am, anyway), we're going to discuss the LAW for what it is IRL and see how it equates to its equivalent in Combat Arms.
The LAW, or the Light Anti-tank Weapon, is an American-made, composite piece of artillery that American soldiers have used and are continuing to use in their battles. It has been featured in Call of Duty Black Ops as a both free-fire and lock-on missile launcher, but in reality the LAW is not capable of lock-on. Its sheer simplicity of design, material make-up, and ease of use are its strongest pros. The fact that the LAW is a one-use weapon, which means that all LAW tubes come with exactly one rocket, and once that rocket is used, the tube cannot be recycled to fire another, is rather debatable in my opinion, as it can be seen as a waste of resources. But on the other hand, the LAW is primarily made up of plastic, so replacing the tubes aren't exactly expensive. Whatever works for our boys in hell, though, is more than enough of a reason to keep using the LAW.
