Comicame Month: Let's Play the Uncanny X-Men
1I'm calling it that due it looking it the way it is. Seeing this game brings back memories for anyone who had an arcade center in their area. This is the Uncanny X-Men brought to us by Konami. In this game, you fight your way from the ravaged city to Magneto's base to save Professor X and Kitty Pryde from the Brotherhood. Seeing this as a Konami game, it does have a tendency to loop (like most of their games back in the day). What you're seeing is the most common port, being the 4 player. Seeing a 6 player port would be rare to see, much less getting to be part of it. Thankfully this game FINALLY got a home console release that most wouldn't mind being a part of. I also did this run as Dazzler as seeing that she doesn't get much exposure Arcade wise.
X-Men is self-explanatory, you know it, you love it and we all had their comics!
Most of you do or don't know this but there was an 80s cartoon that was based off the game. The episode was entitled, "Pryde of the X-Men". Short-lived, but still worth checking out if you haven't seen it.
