Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars (Windows, 2007)
2NOD and GDI are at it again, once again fighting over World dominance to preserve what habitable zones are left, and procure that ever so valuable tiberium.
The year is 2047 and a massive fireball explodes in the sky leaving most of the planet carpeted with Tiberium. The few habitable zones left are scarce and lucrative, the so called blue zones, while yellow zones make out 50%. This is where most of the World's population live. Surprisingly to GDI, Kane has survived from the previous games, and is back with a vengeance. NOD launches a global assault against GDI and the remaining blue zones on the planet. In a chain of unforseen events, Kane tricks GDI into firing the Ion Cannon at Temple Prime, unleaching an enormous Tiberium explosion, luring an alien race called the Scrin force to Earth. This effectively marks the introduction of a third faction into a C&C campaign.
