Played this Challenge thrice.
My tactics & observations:

1. You have roughly 3 mins before the enemy attacks.
2. Take advantage of scattered supplies and slow & steady stream of enemy flow.
3. My micro sucks alot.
4. Build alot of L.Outposts, abit of T.Crawler and several Inferno Cannons
5. Micro the shit out of the I.Cannons.
6. Build Command Center for Support Powers to eliminate a bulk of enemy vehicles after the 1st layer of Gatling cannons.
