There isn't actually a way to speed this level up, outside turning the Game Speed up, so to do it differently this time around I take out the base. Most of the damage can be done at the start, but I don't quite finish the base off, so do it later in the mission.
There's not a lot else to say really. I focus less on static defences, because I'm not treating this like a Tower Defence, I guess?
Tanks are the way. Always. Notice how at one point they try and send V2s around the back? They must've been watching my first playthrough for level 10.
