GDI Dark Ops 1 is a Custom Mission Made by Danku

Commander,

We have received intel of a Nod outpost in the region which is being used to create a new bio-warfare weapon.

We are providing you with a small task force to get in, destroy the biological centre, secure the prototype research and submit the retrieved data to our newly designated Dark Ops centre of operations.

We've sent a scout in to mark an unused base in the area (towards the north east) to help you with this task. Keep an eye open for the flare on your arrival. We also have a mobile forward command station setup up the area, should you make contact with us on the field we can send you further reinforcements and A-10 support.

Beware that Nod appear to have some prototype vehicles in the region that make use of this new bio-warfare weapon.
