Just a month ago, a GDI unit was ambushed during testings of a new, cheaper Mammoth MKII model, proving to be a major success, GDI command in Europe decided to go for its biggest offensive since 2034, and they are willing the take down NOD presence in Spain.
NOD’s Spain base of operation is in Madrid, GDI decided to put the MKII for another live field test against the full NOD arsenal.
The model used in the battle of Madrid still used GDI’s old SAM systems, newer models have improved SAM systems with more range and explosive damage.
Nevertheless, GDI was fully confident in their new weapon, and knowing that the brotherhood is not what it used to be back in 2030, GDI sent an armored assault spearheaded by the Steel Talons division, outnumbered 1:3.
The operation was GDI’s biggest success in 2035.
NOD’s foothold in Spain was totally removed besides a few rebel groups, and GDI now can more easily focus on the important subject at hand, stopping tiberium contamination before it’s too late.
NOD losses: 1,154 – total loss of foothold in Spain
GDI losses: 228 – acceptable, total control over Spain has been reclaimed by GDI.
