Resolution and display settings don't facilitate higher resolutions. At large resolutions everything looks too small. You can force it to display at 50% or lower, but that also makes things blurry. Character movement is good, shooting is only in straight horizontal directions. There are a lot of buttons/keys for playing the game, but they are rebindable. Enemies spawn in almost continuously which you will either love or hate. This is probably because they have chosen to create large areas, which would otherwise be rather empty.
