When you turn on your Commodore 128, it is in UPPER CASE and GRAPHICS MODE so that anytime you press the shift key, you see graphics characters instead of letters...but this can be quickly altered!

Press the COMMODORE LOGO key at the very bottom corner left corner of the keyboard and either SHIFT key and the UPPER CASE letters will switch to lower case and the graphics characters will become capitals!

Programs such as word processors take care of this for you of course...Thanks for dropping in, I hope this helps you get to know your vintage Commodore 128 computer!
