Commodore 64 - Flashlights! - Vic-20 User Guide - C64 Programmers Reference Guide - Episode 1265
There are no end of treasures in the pool room! Indeed, there were two flashlights...and today I got some batteries from Dollarama, not their blue cheap batteries, but the alkaline ones...they cost a bit more, but according to a news report I saw, while not quite as good as the brand name batteries, still, they are close and they are most cost effective!
Time to test these light emitting devices and see if they work...one of them needs 2 batteries, the other 3...
Then we look at a couple of commodore manuals...the manual that came with the first pet was, I think, 8 pages...they since thought better of that as I gaze at the Vic-20 user guide and the C64 programmers reference guide...including a schematic diagram of the machine! Then comes a vintage Commodore binder...that seems to have been used to hold plus/4 information, but at the moment it is empty...
And I found the missing C128 diagnostic plug...it goes into the serial port...will set it aside so it does not go missing again...
Screws and other bits from a Commodore 128 that I opened long ago and set aside...as well as lots of other bits and pieces and stories...etc, etc, etc...
