E-Swat: Cyber Police, developed by Creations Materials and published by US Gold in 1990

"Law and order no longer exists in Cyber City. Only ESWAT the elite division of the Cyber police are capable of restoring the peace. Firstly, you're a street-smart regular SWAT cop. Survive - impress your superiors and you just might enter the ESWAT squad. Armed with an exo-suit and the latest firepower weaponry you'll be guaranteed to make even the most hardened punks quiver in terror. ESWAT - it's your only chance to even the score!"

A great arcade game, a piss poor C64 conversion. The game feels rushed an incomplete. The game plays mostly ok until you get to the laser guns. These have a habit of being difficult to reach and shoot shoot fast. Usually more than one at a time so it's easy to get caught in the cross fire. The controls for jumping can be fiddly (annoying) as it thinks you want to shoot up.. The games hit detection is terrible so you can duck or jump over many projectiles that come for you. I often have to shoot near the laser guns for a hit to register as apposed to directly at them.

you start the game with 9 lives and you are gonna need em. Normally in a longplay if things go bad, I either restart or find a good point to continue from but I just could not care for this game It just isn't worth the effort especially as US Gold didn't think anyone would get to the end as no ending has been provided. The game just loops back to the title screen.
