Sleepwalker, developed and released by Zeppelin Games in 1991

"CRASH!! Eccentric Uncle Silas is out sleepwalking again. WALLOP!! Around an old mansion hall littered with his treasured knick knacks CRUNCH!! But you know what they say about waking sleepwalkers suddenly? BANG!!, So who can protect the frail old man from certain injury? RRIIPPP!! Luckily nephew Rory is on hand to save his Uncle. SMASH!! If only he can reach the skateboard before Sila.. YEOWWWWWWWWW!!!!!"

A budget release from Zeppelin and a pretty good one on the C64. The aim of the game is simple. Don't allow the sleepwalker to be woken up and guide them to their bed. However executing that isn't so simple. First off, you need to find the sleep walker and then make sure he doesn't land in any traps by getting to them first. Do not collide with the sleepwalker as you get stunned and unable to move out of his way so you can quickly end up losing all lives in a second.

You can get in the sleepwalkers way to try and influence his direction, but as you can see in the video, it's easier said than done. If he walks into you, you will still get stunned but wont lose a life. To complete the game you need to make it through a full 7 night week with each night getting progressively more difficult with number of traps and deeper into the house. I'm sure the game can be completed quicker, but it was just not going my way while recording.

And for all the effort it takes to beat the game, it is another that does not reward you with a highscore when completing the game. You have to achieve a game over for that privilege. Game over screen added after game completion.
