"Beyond fieldsport, deep into the future of mankind lies the greatest team game in the known Universe - Hypaball.

This is one of those games you fire up time and time again just for the music. That's not to say the game is bad as it's not bad really. It could maybe have been much more like Speedball in space! Well drawn and plays ok.

At the start of the game you choose 3 players from a pool of 10 to join your team the 'Hawks'. The opponent will also choose 3 to join the 'Vipers'. Once in the Hypa-Dome you play a single 10 minute round in an epic battle for the Odin Super Cup. At the end 'The Echo' will give a match report.

Gameplay involves moving one of 3 team members to grab the ball and fire it into the moving goal. The player closest to the ball is the active player. Holding the ball to long will issue a penalty resulting in the the opposing Ai team getting a goal which you cant really challenge.

Overall its a good C64 game remembered mostly for its music. There is also a Spectrum version but that one is just tragic and you wouldn't think it was from the same developers.
