Commodore - Episode 122 - Testing Some Commodore 128 Computers - David Bradley - C128 C-128 C128D
Commodore 128 computers are really great machines, and today it is time, in the quest to get organized, it is time to assess some of these wonderful machines. One has JiffyDos installed, and it seems to be dead, but we shall see. The other is the computer I have been using to test chips, such as SID chips. All part of getting organized, and using the space of the pool table wisely.
The 8032 continues to run, run, run...as I try to make it fail...but alas, it seems pretty ok!
I have not really used or been a fan of JiffyDos, but it does seem to be highly prized in the World of Commodore, so I am prepared to be wrong about it.
These 128's are working...but I have not checked them over in the 80 column mode...yet...but I will.
And yes, I will keep better notes on all of these machines as I go through...maybe I should set up a database!
And so the marathon of testing continues...thanks for watching...comments are very welcome...so sorry for the annoying screen roll on the 1701 monitor...stay tuned for lots more cool episodes!
