Commodore - Episode 117 - Testing An 8032 PET CBM Computer - David Bradley - 2001 4032 SuperPET
It is time to assess an 8032 Commodore PET computer!!! The 8032 was more of a business machine that came with 80 columns and yes, 32k! This machine I am sure I have looked at before, but it has been quite a while.
Sheldon the cat comes to visit and stroll about on the table and almost sets an avalanche in motion, but it ended up being more of a slight landslide.
I must start to keep better notes on what I check out and what I find...and I suppose I have to start on a machine and after the triage stage, decide if the machine is able to be fixed, and if it is staying or going or being taken to bits to help other machines or what.
This 8032 at first, seems that it might have a slight sort of issue...but we will see...the hardest thing to find is an error that is not predictable and repeatable...
Thanks for watching...comments are most welcome...oh yes, it helps lots if you actually plug the keyboard in the right way...and upside down cable generally does not produce positive results!
