Oh yes, the disk drive is still being tested...and now I am getting together a bunch of disks together to continue the testing...the bad chip is safely out of the way where it can not be mixed in...

When I am done, I will have 9 copies of the same disk...and I will try to make the 4040 fail...and then move on from there...but yes, soon, it might be time to put all the chips into the recently acquired disk drive...

Had I to do this again...I am sure I would have done it differently...I think I would have ensured that the not working drive was not working...with different disks and then I would have put other chips into it...either approach is good...but really...this had taken way too long...and I am getting a bit tired of it...I just want an answer...soon...please...
