When watching YouTube on a computer, the "L" key is your friend ... skips 30s ahead ;)

"Quick" video on how to use a 23-to-27 adaptor board to replace the 2364 kernel ROM in your VIC-20 with a 27xxx EPROM ... in this case a 27c128 with the original 8KB kernel as well as JiffyDOS.

Extra bonus ... using a CMOS EPROM reduces power consumption and heat (those 2332 & 2364 ROMs get damn hot!).

Normally I would also solder on a socket for the 27128 but as I was installing this in a VIC with PET-style keys, the ROM adaptor board would've been too tall. So I had to solder the 27128 EPROM to the adaptor board directly (after first programming it).
