Communication Between Swarming Drones in Kerbal Space Program
Take drone swarm control to the next level by introducing radio communications techniques using the kOS mod for Kerbal Space Program. Watch as aubranium demonstrates a rudimentary implementation of a commonly used protocol called UART, and shows how a host vessel can use a standard message encoding technique called Type-Length-Value (TLV) to send and receive requests from client vessels. See the swarm launch and ascend along a shared trajectory, controlled by the host vessel, in a beautifully coordinated manner. If you're interested in learning more about advanced drone swarm communications, this video is a must-watch!
