In this episode of the KSP challenge, we attempt an extreme entry, descent, and landing on Eve without a heat shield or parachutes. With a maximum of 30 parts and no thermal or payload components, we use an unconventional solution: flags. These flags exploit a quirk in the KSP physics engine to avoid re-entry heating. We start from Kerbin, launch using a Pollux engine, and navigate to Eve. Despite the lack of conventional protection, our Kerbal survives the descent and lands safely in the ocean.
