Communist Bulgarian PP51A Geiger Counter.
This is basically a Bulgarian copy of the Soviet DP-5, it uses the same radiation ranges and GM tubes inside of it, unlike the Polish DP-66 which uses different GM tubes.
This however uses different batteries and this one has a broken ammeter (Display) I was able at one point to get it audibly ticking next to a source but it may be to quiet for the camera microphone to pick up.

I'm still trying to figure out how to open the case for this to look at the electronics inside, I'm assuming like a DP-5 that once the base screws are removed the top of the counter pulls out from the base of the case, the metal is two-tone.
However due to age etc it doesn't want to come apart and I don't want to force it as the metal seems to be buckling with pressure.
Overall a cool meter but as said, basically a DP-5 with a new case.
