World War 2 was one of the worst events in history.
In order to survive some companies had to sacrifice business to show support while some other companies did anything to get ahead.
Welcome to World’s Best Videos, We’ve compiled a list of companies that Profited from Nazi Rule during World War II.
The Vuitton Family
During Nazi rule certain shops were closed but the Louis Vuitton store stayed open on the ground floor of the Hotel Du Parc in Vichy.
The Vuitton family actively supported the puppet government and made money from their business dealings with the Germans.
Henry Gaston was the Vuitton’s Grandson and he had been urged to forge links with people of power in the Nazi Community in order to help business.
Hugo Boss
The founder of Hugo Boss was an Avid National Socialist supporting the Nazis.
Recently the brand issued a statement apologizing for mistreating the forced workers in WWII.
Originally the brand’s first contracts were to produce Police and Postal uniforms.
Later boss provided the black and brown uniforms for the Hitler Youth, until finally mass producing Black SS uniforms.
Henry Ford
Henry Ford was presented with the Grand Cross of the Supreme Order of the German Eagle on his 75th birthday.
He was the first American to receive this honor from Nazi Germany.
Hitler mentioned that he had a life-size portrait of the ford brand on his desk.
He also said that Henry was his inspiration.
Ford supplied Germany with military equipment but refused to build engines for Britain’s RAF.
Coca-Cola
Coca-Cola played both American and German sides during World War II.
Germans ran out of Sugary Syrup to make Coca Cola so Coca-Cola’s German division invented Fanta to still sell Coca-Cola brand without breaking any restrictions.
