I sadly have not been able to get this to work with HelixVision so you will be stuck with halved resolutions. There is also a small side effect with the software mouse that could probably overcome with a different mouse.ini.
Small compromises really. If you would like to add some extra information please feel free to do so in the comments below.
To make the best of this game you will need to play around with Upscaling=1 and a custom resolution of 3840x1080 on desktop while maintaining regular 1920x1080p in game. Then you could play without the resolutions halved! Thanks to Masterotaku for pointing this out. It basically makes the game perfect. Only mouse pointer issue remaining.
