We brought you Little Samson last week, so we might as well get the other 'grail' out of the way - Flinstones: Surprise at Dinosaur Peak.

This one, unlike Little Samson, is on a reproduction cart. It really is a game that is -that- hard to find. The question then becomes: is it worth it?

Little Samson is a truly great game - one of the best on the NES. No game is worth -that- kind of money, but is it worthy of more than your average game and high praise? Absolutely.

Is F:SaDP on the same level? Lol. No. It is not.

It's... okay. There are many worse games on the NES (looks deeply at camera) ... many worse games on the NES. Switching between Fred and Barney is cool, but this is clearly a budget title. Both came out pretty late in the NES library, but while Samson was clearly designed by the best and brightest, SaDP was just... designed.

I tried to go through the whole game, but did not quite get there. Now that we have the repro cart, I might try to do a run of this again, which is why the video is titled part 1. Part 2 is not recorded yet, and it might never be... but I am hoping to practice up on this one and get an actual run --- dare I say it, speedrun --- in the future. As always, thanks for watching!
