In this episode, we are joined by my former manager at Gamestop, Brian Horan. After being forced out at Gamestop (you can believe you'll hear the story in this episode!), he has gone on to successfully manage a FYE and Turkey Hill store. He is currently being promoted to District Manager of Turkey Hill.
Special guest Mike Finch also joined us again - we all, at one time, work at the same store - if only for a brief moment.
Brian gives us some insider information that only managers would really know - they are the people who saw the downfall coming before anybody else. We discuss many topics in this extra-long (it's worth it!) podcast, including how Brian rose in the ranks of Gamestop, his fateful firing story, how Gamestop changed in the 5 years that he was there, how Gamestop has changed in the 8 years since he left, and what he would do to fix Gamestop.
