The Sopranos: Road to Respect was released on November 7, 2006 as a PS2 exclusive, making this a relatively late release (even though the PS2 lasted forever and a day). It was developed by 7Studios - they also developed a few Fantastic Four games, Shrek the Third, and their final game was DJ Hero 2 --- they were bought out by Activision in 2009, and shut down by 2011. Who would've guessed??

This game was published by THQ, who also mostly doesn't exist anymore. So, my initial guess was right!

Originally, I planned on this being a quick Let's Try type of game, but this is simply too good (and I love The Sopranos too much) to not keep playing.

Lastly - the character you play as is unique to this game, and he is Salvatore (Big P-word)'s kid. Salvatore was killed at the end of season two, so we can assume, if this game is canonical, that it takes place after season two, and before the end of the TV series.
