Complete in Box Plays - Vampire Night (PS2) - Part 1
FLASHING LIGHTS WARNING! This is a GunCon game, and the screen flashes when we shoot, which is an awful lot!
Vampire Night was released in early 2001 for the arcades (I'd love to see a machine of this one!) and later on November 16, 2001 for the PS2. It was developed by Wow! Entertainment (which also worked on House of the Dead, so that makes a lot of sense) and published by Namco.
We now have a fully-working set of GunCon2 controllers AND a tube TV that the controllers function with! Vampire Night is a lesser-known light gun game for the PS2, and one we played a few times many years ago, so I thought this would be a fun playthrough.
Although it is definitely not as memorable (or difficult) as House of the Dead, it is above-average as far as arcade-style light gun games are concerned. The voice acting and story on this one are particularly hilarious. We will finish up the playthrough on part 2 - see you there!
