7Welcome to Orbox C, a puzzle game about a sliding box...IN SPACE!!! This is one of those puzzle games where you have to move the object from the start to the finish, but you can only move in one direction until something stops you. Arseniy Shkljaev contacted me by email to ask if I would play his game, and I said sure! I looked at it on Steam and didn't really watch any videos because I didn't want to ruin the experience. I judged it then that it might not be the greatest, but I was happily wrong! I really enjoyed playing this puzzle game! In this video, I will be completing easy and easy 2 on Orbox C. There are also more difficulty levels.
A lot of the puzzles are very difficult to complete and require a lot of thinking and a lot of focus. You really have to think outside the box...the OR-box... haha. There are bombs, sensors, teleporters, gates, ice and stars. Each of these things adds a new mechanic to the game and new challenges. You get more points the longer your path is, and less if you go over a space you've already traveled. Sometimes you need to backtrack to complete the puzzle.
#OrboxC has both a free version and a paid version. The paid version has more levels and everything in it.

Orbox C - mind cracking puzzle in outer space!
Orbox C is a great puzzle game with lots of levels.
Excellent level design is what makes the game stands above the other games of this type.
The game done with a nice sci-fi spacey graphics, good sound and music.
Controls are simple and responsive.
Orbox C is a pure puzzle game. Move the orbox between various blocks to complete the mission. There are several types of missions. Many levels of various difficulty. 7 packs with 30 levels in each pack. 210 levels overall. We reserved place for 8th pack "Chain Reaction". It will have new type of element on the field. If the game go well we will add more level packs and more new type of elements and features in the updates. We have a huge list for that.
In 2005-2006 the browser games Orbox and Orbox B popularized specific type of puzzle. The mechanic was simple. A box slides in one direction until it stops at a block. And can only then be redirected by the player. Dozens of same mechanic games appearing every year since then. Orbox C stands out with its diversely creative level design, missions and score system. This sci-fi themed puzzle has original sounds and music, worth a listen. The mechanic idea was orignially invented by the game designer himself around 1996. He created the game a couple of times on different platforms(ZX Spectrum, ZX emulation on PC, Pascal, Qbasic) before the flash version reached the public.
Orbox C is a puzzle game that requires use of logic. It enhances simple mechanic with special elements and missions that interact in different ways. The game does not confuse with complexity and too much blocks on the field. Instead it has cleverly made levels with one or few tricks in each. This pushes the player to think some ways his brain might never done before. It can be mentally pleasant and rewarding. Difficulty in the game grows slow enough. Game has hundred levels with easy to average difficulty. So it is suitable for pretty casual players.
Game has 3 record counters - Score, Time and Steps. Each of them will require different tactics.
Orbox C has deeply thought level design. With a great effort put into creating lot of beautifully built levels.
Orbox C is a great puzzle game with sliding block in space. Blow bombs, break the ice, collect orbs, activate sensors and more great stuff for your brain! The game starts easy and slowly grows in difficulty to challenge and trick your mind in the most interesting ways!
