echoes of a distant past
winds that blow so cold so fast
lanterns flicker in the night
haunting hearts with ancient blight
dark moon rising in the sky

feel the night consume my soul
as the shadows take their toll
crimson tears upon my face
lost in time through endless space
beneath the willows mournful cry
i hear the lonely raven's fly
silent cries in midnight's tune
the visions haunt me in my sleep
through broken dreams and shattered glass
through the mist, i seem to pass.
