Abstract: In this talk, I will discuss opportunities in computer visualization for both multivariable calculus and differential equations. Through CalcPlot3D and the Direction Field Explorer web-applets, we can provide powerful exploration environments for students to make graphical connections with the course concepts. CalcPlot3D can also be used to create STL files needed for 3D printing. I will demonstrate how to use the app to create these files and show some of the classroom activities that I have developed using 3d-printed models.
