Recently added to Xbox back compat, I missed this game at it's original release, but was always curious about it.

Here are the opening levels, with no commentary, running on Xbox Series X in back compat. As a huge Conan (books, comics, Arnold movies, etc.) fan I was long overdue to check this out.

Having played it now, I can say it's a pretty mediocre hack and slash game. Bolstered by the voice work of Ron Perlman as Conan, Claudia Black as A'Kanna, and a great performance by Christina Pickles as the narrator. Skip to 24:09 to see the surprisingly great facial animations. Fans of Conan should check it out, but it is definitely not a top tier game. I haven't decided if I will play more or not, the story, setting and voice acting may be enough to pique my interest enough to come back.

Conan fans deserve a big budget, highly polished Conan game. It would look amazing on Unreal Engine 5!
