SEGA published two From Software developed, og Xbox exclusive, 3rd person action games set in a fictionalized ancient Japan. Both titles were amazing with signature From Soft aesthetics, fantastic settings and enemies, and destructible environments, with a huge emphasis on the occult. These were made prior to Hidetaka Miyazaki starting at From Software, but there is definitely some Dark Souls and Sekiro DNA in the Otogi games.

Otogi 1 and 2 were at the top of my back compat wishlist since Xbox announced BC. They were finally added in the "final" (remains to be seen) batch of games in November 2021.

Here is the opening level of the 1st game, running in back compat on Xbox Series X with a 9X resolution boost and a blistering framerate. Like other enhanced back compat games, these basically look and run like full on remasters. Both Otogi 1 and 2 are available digitally and will also run from the disks if you have a rare physical copy of either or both.
