Trying to get my fat, old butt back into shape and I ended up with a rare injury known as Muscle Compartment Syndrome. Six days and five nights in a VA hospital later I was finally free...just in time for my new SEGA Genesis Mini to arrive!
The hospital definitely put a scare in me and having IV fluids pumped into me 24/7 was not what I'd call a good time. Thankfully Wi-Fi, my debit card, and Ebay combined to let me find a Genesis Mini and an Astro City Mini, some things I'd missed out on at release.
So far only the Genesis Mini is here, but the Astro City is on its way from Japan and should arrive soon. I needed this break after the hospital, and it feels great to really be getting back into games again! I'll be grabbing both the NES and SNES minis too, they are not priced too badly for brand new units. I preordered the Genesis Mini 2 the 1st day it was available and I'm hoping Lunar 1 & 2 both come to it as well as the already announced versions for the Japanese Mega-Drive Mini 2. I can't wait to play Shining Force CD again!
