Richard Wright is an Illustrator, Concept Artist and Matte Painter based in Sheffield, United Kingdom. He originally started out as an illustrator at Games Workshop before moving to a video games company called Particle Systems. A couple of years after that he worked at a company called ArkVFX creating pop promos, commercials and video game cinematics.

While at Ark he started working freelance on Magic the Gathering and the World of Warcraft trading card games. He eventually decided to leave and work full-time as an illustrator and for the past 6 years he’s been creating illustrations and concept art for various companies like Bungie, Blizzard, CMON, Games Workshop, Wizards of the Coast.
