2Congo Bongo is a classic arcade platform game released by Sega in 1983. It was also known as Tip Top.
In Congo Bongo, players take on the role of a character who must climb the cliffs of Jungle Mountain to reach Congo Bongo, the jungle gorilla.
Along the way, you’ll encounter challenges such as crossing bridges, jumping chasms, and avoiding coconuts thrown by Congo.
Monkeys will also try to jump on your back, slowing you down, but a couple of jumps can send them scurrying.
The Atari 5200 version of Congo Bongo was a port of the original arcade game.
Unfortunately, this port received mixed reviews due to issues with jumping controls, making it less enjoyable than the arcade version.
Despite its limitations, it remains a nostalgic title for fans of retro gaming.
