47Addressing the outreach programme for credit support to disadvantaged sections, PM Modi said, “The biggest beneficiaries of our government's schemes for poverty alleviation are the Dalit and marginalized communities. However, whenever Modi does anything for the service of Dalits and marginalized communities, those in the opposition, especially in the INDI Alliance, get most agitated. Congress never wants life to be easy for Dalits, backward classes, or tribals. They only want to keep you in a state of deprivation. Look at any scheme, they have made a mockery of building toilets for you. They opposed the Jan Dhan Yojana and Ujjwala Yojana. Where their governments are in power, many schemes have not been implemented to date. They know that if the youth of Dalit and marginalized communities progress, their family-oriented politics will come to an end. They chant slogans of social justice but actually work to divide society along caste lines, opposing real social justice.”
