Addressing the beneficiaries under the PM SVANidhi scheme in Delhi, PM Modi said, “The continuous effort of the BJP government is to empower the youth from poor and middle-class backgrounds in sports. Over the past 10 years, we have created an environment at every level. Through the 'Khelo India' scheme, children from ordinary families across the country are now stepping forward, getting opportunities that were once impossible. Today, good sports facilities are being developed around their homes, and the government is providing assistance for their training. Therefore, athletes coming from my humble background are also elevating the pride of the tricolor.”
