I always have a difficult time with this boss fight, although once in a blue moon I can manage it on my first try. As the video demonstrates, however, this was not one of those times XD On the bright side, you get to see the game make fun at me for sucking so horribly.


It took me quite some time to track down another cartridge of this, and a hefty sum of cash as well, but my god was it worth it...for its satirical qualities, at least. Unfortunately, as a game it hasn't aged gracefully at all-- the camera fights you, the controls are unresponsive, and the difficulty is created from shoddy execution rather than legitimate implementation. However, its charm and writing more than make up for it, and fortunately in that regard it has stood the test of time, toilet humor aside.
One thing I've noticed with the plethora of walkthroughs and let's plays on YouTube at the moment is that the majority of them (if not all) ran the game using an emulator, which is not the case here, for what you see has been recorded directly for a Nintendo 64, frame rate dips and all. This game pushes the system to its technical limits, with real-time shadows and reflections, and this does sadly come with a price, for the game likes to chug often. Still, there's nothing quite like playing it on the actual hardware it was made for, and I hope this quality sets this walkthrough apart from all the rest.
