Conquest- The Nords ask that you kindly feed their Trolls.
103The Nords for Para Bellum's Conquest game continue to have one of the most wildly diverse army lineups I can think of in a mass combat tabletop game. Viking pirate dudes, feral animalistic hunters, ogres, giants, elite ninja archers, hulking armored brutes, and even more stuff coming down the pipeline... plus the trolls featured in this video!
First off- new plastic manufacturer and new sprues! Cool! Made in Poland... there's only one minis company I can think of making plastic models in Poland, but I haven't seen any official confirmation one way or the other. Anyone know more about it than me?
I feel there's a good amount of variety in terms of parts. The trolls themselves are supposed to rank up, so they're a bit hunched and keeping their arms closer to their bodies than I'd like (as I'm going to be using them in the skirmish rules, First Blood).
I have to say that the Nords were the army I was least interested in, yet have the most painted so far. Plus there's even more wild stuff they've got rules for- Valkyries, Werewolves, packs of animals, various giant breeds... there's a lot of fun stuff there to check out, with the overwhelming bulk of it being in plastic too!
