82So here's something different!
I'd been wanting to check these guys out for a while, and I saw they're starting to trickle into American distribution.
I had to get the coolest (goofiest?) looking bad guys I could find, naturally.
All three models have a classic super robot vibe going for them. I don't think they're based on anything specific, but they certainly have the flair of 80s anime robot bad guys.
The figures themselves are nicely cast and in relatively few parts. I feel the connection points on the arms and hands were a little small, but that's not anything a pin vice couldn't help fix.
Part of me is tempted to paint them according to their promo art, but another part of me is thinking just go all YOLO and paint them as bright and as garish as possible, like some nightmarish 70s Mazinger villains.
I may need to get that upcoming Trashasaur model for just that purpose too!
